The USM Slim specification defines a thinner, 9 mm dimension, making it an ideal storage solution for ultrabooks, tablets and other portable devices. Demand for thinner, lighter mobile devices often results in decreased native storage capacities, limiting the amount of content consumers can carry with them. The USM Slim specification allows manufacturers to develop external storage offerings that seamlessly pair with these thin and light devices so that consumers can still have instant access to their music, movies, photos and other content at any time or place. The smaller form factor now makes it possible for thinner CE devices to integrate the USM host connector or slot to accept the 9 mm module.</p> </div> </td></tr> </table> </td> </tr> <tr> <td> <table width="100%" style="font-family: Helvetica, sans-serif; border:1px solid #adadad; background-color: #F3F1EC; color: #666666; padding:10px; border-radius:6px; -moz-border-radius:6px; -webkit-border-radius:6px; line-height:14px; font-size: 11px; color:#666;"> <tr> <td>You are receiving this email because you subscribed to this feed at <a href="http://blogtrottr.com/">blogtrottr.com</a>.<br /><br /> If you no longer wish to receive these emails, you can <a href="http://blogtrottr.com/unsubscribe/8wZ/DWK5r0">unsubscribe from this feed</a>, or <a href="http://blogtrottr.com/subscriptions/">manage all your subscriptions</a> </td> </tr> </table> </td> </tr> </table> Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02501850162235026215noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3536329688812616850.post-799896525033043162012-06-05T03:21:00.001+07:002012-06-05T03:21:12.009+07:00techPowerUp!: MSI Big Bang MPower Motherboard Series Detailed<table width="100%"> <tr> <td> <table width="100%" style="border:1px solid #adadad; background-color: #F3F1EC; color: #666666; padding:10px; -webkit-border-radius:6px; border-radius:6px; -moz-border-radius:6px; line-height:14px; margin-bottom:12px;"> <tr> <td><span style="font-family:Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size:20px;font-weight:bold;">techPowerUp!</span></td> </tr> <tr> <td><span style="font-family:Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size:11px;">The latest Hardware and Gaming News</span></td> </tr> </table> </td> </tr> <tr> <td> <a name="item_"></a> <table width="100%" style="font:12px Helvetica, sans-serif; border-radius:6px; -moz-border-radius:6px; -webkit-border-radius:6px; background-color:#fff; padding:10px; margin-bottom:12px; border:1px solid #adadad;"> <tr> <td> <a style="font-family:Helvetica, sans-serif; letter-spacing:-1px;margin:0;padding:0 0 2px;font-weight: bold;font-size: 19px;line-height: 20px;color:#222;" href="http://www.techpowerup.com/167146/MSI-Big-Bang-MPower-Motherboard-Series-Detailed.html">MSI Big Bang MPower Motherboard Series Detailed</a> <div style="font-family:Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align:left;color:#999;font-size:10px;font-weight:bold;line-height:15px;">Jun 4th 2012, 19:35 </div> <div style="font-family:Helvetica, sans-serif; color:#494949;text-align:justify;font-size:12px;"> <p>Late last week, we came across teaser pictures of a certain new Big Bang series motherboard. The two are beefed-up versions of the Z77A-GD65 and X79A-GD65 (8D), respectively, with stronger CPU VRM, relaxed warranties that are overclocker-friendly, and a new black+yellow color-scheme, which is consistent with that of its Lightning series graphics cards (such as the R7970 Lightning). <a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.techpowerup.com/img/12-06-04/38b.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://www.techpowerup.com/img/12-06-04/38b_thm.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></a> <a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.techpowerup.com/img/12-06-04/38c.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://www.techpowerup.com/img/12-06-04/38c_thm.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></a></p> </div> </td></tr> </table> </td> </tr> <tr> <td> <table width="100%" style="font-family: Helvetica, sans-serif; border:1px solid #adadad; background-color: #F3F1EC; color: #666666; padding:10px; border-radius:6px; -moz-border-radius:6px; -webkit-border-radius:6px; line-height:14px; font-size: 11px; color:#666;"> <tr> <td>You are receiving this email because you subscribed to this feed at <a href="http://blogtrottr.com/">blogtrottr.com</a>.<br /><br /> If you no longer wish to receive these emails, you can <a href="http://blogtrottr.com/unsubscribe/8wZ/DWK5r0">unsubscribe from this feed</a>, or <a href="http://blogtrottr.com/subscriptions/">manage all your subscriptions</a> </td> </tr> </table> </td> </tr> </table> Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02501850162235026215noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3536329688812616850.post-56342184861780539232012-06-05T02:22:00.001+07:002012-06-05T02:22:06.909+07:00techPowerUp!: (PR) Xbox Makes Entertainment More Amazing on Phone, PC, Tablet and TV<table width="100%"> <tr> <td> <table width="100%" style="border:1px solid #adadad; background-color: #F3F1EC; color: #666666; padding:10px; -webkit-border-radius:6px; border-radius:6px; -moz-border-radius:6px; line-height:14px; margin-bottom:12px;"> <tr> <td><span style="font-family:Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size:20px;font-weight:bold;">techPowerUp!</span></td> </tr> <tr> <td><span style="font-family:Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size:11px;">The latest Hardware and Gaming News</span></td> </tr> </table> </td> </tr> <tr> <td> <a name="item_"></a> <table width="100%" style="font:12px Helvetica, sans-serif; border-radius:6px; -moz-border-radius:6px; -webkit-border-radius:6px; background-color:#fff; padding:10px; margin-bottom:12px; border:1px solid #adadad;"> <tr> <td> <a style="font-family:Helvetica, sans-serif; letter-spacing:-1px;margin:0;padding:0 0 2px;font-weight: bold;font-size: 19px;line-height: 20px;color:#222;" href="http://www.techpowerup.com/167141/Xbox-Makes-Entertainment-More-Amazing-on-Phone-PC-Tablet-and-TV.html">(PR) Xbox Makes Entertainment More Amazing on Phone, PC, Tablet and TV</a> <div style="font-family:Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align:left;color:#999;font-size:10px;font-weight:bold;line-height:15px;">Jun 4th 2012, 18:49 </div> <div style="font-family:Helvetica, sans-serif; color:#494949;text-align:justify;font-size:12px;"> <p>hat if your tablet or phone knew what you were watching on TV and presented bonus features without you having to lift a finger? The World of Warcraft Wireless Mouse not only answers players requests, but we're confident that it will impress players by arming them with state of the art hardware features and an exceptional user experience," said Bruce Hawver, SteelSeries CEO. <a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.techpowerup.com/img/12-06-04/steelseries_wow_wireless_mouse_01.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://www.techpowerup.com/img/12-06-04/steelseries_wow_wireless_mouse_01_thm.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></a></p> </div> </td></tr> </table> </td> </tr> <tr> <td> <table width="100%" style="font-family: Helvetica, sans-serif; border:1px solid #adadad; background-color: #F3F1EC; color: #666666; padding:10px; border-radius:6px; -moz-border-radius:6px; -webkit-border-radius:6px; line-height:14px; font-size: 11px; color:#666;"> <tr> <td>You are receiving this email because you subscribed to this feed at <a href="http://blogtrottr.com/">blogtrottr.com</a>.<br /><br /> If you no longer wish to receive these emails, you can <a href="http://blogtrottr.com/unsubscribe/8wZ/DWK5r0">unsubscribe from this feed</a>, or <a href="http://blogtrottr.com/subscriptions/">manage all your subscriptions</a> </td> </tr> </table> </td> </tr> </table> Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02501850162235026215noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3536329688812616850.post-74036310409026988122012-06-05T00:24:00.005+07:002012-06-05T00:24:24.447+07:00techPowerUp!: (PR) SteelSeries Announces Guild Wars 2 Peripherals Line-Up<table width="100%"> <tr> <td> <table width="100%" style="border:1px solid #adadad; background-color: #F3F1EC; color: #666666; padding:10px; -webkit-border-radius:6px; border-radius:6px; -moz-border-radius:6px; line-height:14px; margin-bottom:12px;"> <tr> <td><span style="font-family:Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size:20px;font-weight:bold;">techPowerUp!</span></td> </tr> <tr> <td><span style="font-family:Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size:11px;">The latest Hardware and Gaming News</span></td> </tr> </table> </td> </tr> <tr> <td> <a name="item_"></a> <table width="100%" style="font:12px Helvetica, sans-serif; border-radius:6px; -moz-border-radius:6px; -webkit-border-radius:6px; background-color:#fff; padding:10px; margin-bottom:12px; border:1px solid #adadad;"> <tr> <td> <a style="font-family:Helvetica, sans-serif; letter-spacing:-1px;margin:0;padding:0 0 2px;font-weight: bold;font-size: 19px;line-height: 20px;color:#222;" href="http://www.techpowerup.com/167128/SteelSeries-Announces-Guild-Wars-2-Peripherals-Line-Up.html">(PR) SteelSeries Announces Guild Wars 2 Peripherals Line-Up</a> <div style="font-family:Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align:left;color:#999;font-size:10px;font-weight:bold;line-height:15px;">Jun 4th 2012, 16:32 </div> <div style="font-family:Helvetica, sans-serif; color:#494949;text-align:justify;font-size:12px;"> <p>SteelSeries, the leading global manufacturer of gaming peripherals, in partnership with ArenaNet, the world's premier developer of massively multiplayer online games (MMOs), today announced a new line-up of gaming peripherals for Guild Wars 2. Their most striking feature is the Thunderbolt interface, which gives high-bandwidth devices (such as DAS) access to 10 Gb/s of bandwidth. The Thunderbolt interface is also wired to the Intel Flexible Display Interface (FDI), which routes the Intel HD 4000/2500 series graphics of the processor through a common Thunderbolt + mini-DisplayPort, which can then be daisy-chained between 6 devices, including a monitor. The two also feature high-grade CPU VRM, which utilize new high-current chokes and PowIRstage IR3550 driver-MOSFETs, and a VRD12-compliant VRM controller, also made by IR. These include four models in the 2.5-inch 9.5 mm-thick form-factor (standard), another four models in the 2.5-inch 7 mm-thick form-factor (slim, for Ultrabooks); and three models in the super-compact mSATA form-factor. The 9.5 mm-thick and 7 mm-thick 2.5-inch models differ only with their thickness, and are otherwise identical, since SSDs are essentially just printed circuit boards with NAND flash memory, controllers, caches, and ancillary components soldered onto them. The 9.5 mm-thick 2.5-inch models carry the model number scheme THNSNFxxxGBSS (xxx = number of GB capacity), while the 7 mm-thick 2.5-inch models use THNSNFxxxGCSS. Both lines are available in 64 GB, 128 GB, 256 GB, and 512 GB capacities. The 128, 256, and 512 GB models offer transfer rates as high as 524 MB/s, while the 64 GB model offers up to 440 MB/s. Toshiba implemented a new controller that features next-generation Deterministic Zeroing TRIM (a feature exclusive with Windows 8 and future *nix kernels), Quadruple Swing-by Code (QSBC), a performance-optimized ECC-equivalent, and a read-only mode. The mSATA models (model number scheme THNSNFxxxGMCS) offer similar performance to their 2.5-inch cousins, but are available in only three capacity options, 64 GB, 128 GB, and 256 GB.
