
Amid the rampant news about AMD's Radeon HD 6000 Series, it turns out Nvidia has prepared a new weapon to anticipate the presence of AMD's latest graphics cards, especially the Radeon HD 6970 that rumors will have the SP 1920 and intended to compete with GTX480 malignancy.
As if not to be outdone by AMD which will bring 2nd Generation DirectX 11 Graphic Card, Nvidia is also preparing to bring the 2nd Generation DirectX 11 Graphic Card them. Nvidia prepares a new chip that is built on 40nm manufacturing process (similar to Fermi's family) with GF110 code and will likely come with a GeForce GTX580. GF110 will bring CUDA Cores 512 and 128 Texture Units (GTX480 only have 60 TMU), memory controller on the GF110 will also be more advanced with a 512-bit GDDR5 2GB capacity. TDP GTX580 would be equivalent to approximately GTX480 and will require additional power from 6 +8 Pin Power Connector, and equipped with connectivity in the form of two DVI and mini-HDMI.
