GIGABYTE X11 Pictured - World's Lightest Ultrabook
May 31st 2012, 03:02

Here are the first pictures of the X11 from GIGABYTE, an Ultrabook touted by GIGABYTE to be the "world's lightest". The 13-incher, in pictures leaked to the web ahead of its May 31 launch, appears to make use of advanced materials such as carbon fiber, to achieve low weight, apart from structural rigidity, which is key for the form-factor. It retains the "wedge-shape" of several other lightweights, including Apple MacBook Air. Its system specifications are still under the wraps, although we're pretty sure we're looking at a new-generation Intel Core "Ivy Bridge" powered Ultrabook here. Find more pictures at the source.
