Philips has today announced the European release of the 221S3UCB 21.5-inch monitor which gets both power and signal via a USB connection. Part of the business-oriented S-Line family, this USB display features a TN panel, white LED backlighting, a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, a 5 ms response time, a maximum brightness of 150 cd/m2, and a contrast ratio of 1,000:1. The 221S3UCB also has a stand allowing for tilt, rotation and height adjustment, and it comes with a recommended price tag of 145 Euro (plus VAT).
